Lots of Sun Means Lots of Color...

All of a sudden there is a lot of color in the landscape...yesterday's rain and today's sun has everything blooming.  The grass is green the Forsythia is out and the Magnolias are blooming...it all looks great!  Well the sky will be loaded with sun again tomorrow but  it will be noticeably cooler with an onshore breeze...this means only mid 40s for the coast and lower to mid 50s inland.  That same onshore wind component will be with us again on Saturday so similar temps can be expected.  Unfortunately over the weekend we are going to see rain...but most of it will fall late Saturday night and very early Sunday morning...so, much of the daylight hours will be rain-free!  There will be a lot of rain again as this storm will have good dynamics and moisture inflow...and inch or more is possible once again.  Behind the system, drier west winds will take over and the sun will break through for the afternoon on Sunday.  Those dry west winds will blow again on Monday...great for the runners of the marathon.  There will be a frontal boundary approaching later in the afternoon so clouds will overspread the area and there may even be a few showers around late in the day too.  Beyond Monday it gets more complicated...will the warmfront lift north of us or  will it get hung up over Southern New England?  Camps are split on this outcome...at the moment I'd lean on the cooler solution...
