Looking Great!

We still are waiting on the surface coldfront to pass through later tonight before we can call off all thunderstorms but we are in the clear for now and look really good over the next 1-2 hours too.  The front will usher in drier and refreshing air for the weekend which will bleed in on a pleasant breeze tomorrow morning.  That breeze will let up in the afternoon and a seabreeze will be able to develop cooling off the beaches later in the day to around 70.  Inland areas will warm to the lower 80s in most spots.  All areas will see lots of sunshine as the NW wind should preclude widespread fog in the morning and only thin cirrus clouds are expected later in the day.

A weak disturbance will pass SW of us Saturday night...there is a small chance now of showers especially through Connecticut but most should stay dry!  As the system clears the coast it will take with it most of the clouds and high pressure will settle in for a few days keeping us dry too!  Temps will be on the climb from the 70s on Sunday to the mid 80s for Monday and Tuesday away from the coast.

Middle of next week, another slow-moving system will increase the threat of showers and thunderstorms by Wednesday afternoon.

Enjoy the weekend everyone!
