Locke Ober Closes After 137 Years
BOSTON (CBS) - A Boston institution, and a landmark restaurant in the city, has closed after over a century of business.
Locke Ober was the restaurant of choice for Boston's power brokers and celebrity visitors.

President Kennedy used to meet with his "inner circle" there.
Now there's a sign on the establishment's door saying the restaurant is closed and the building is up for sale.
Chef Lydia Shire bought and renovated the restaurant in 2001, but it never truly regained its prominence.
