Restaurants, Retailers Offer Veterans Appreciation Deals
BOSTON (CBS) - The country's veterans can eat like kings or queens all day. In most cases, all they need is their military ID.
Both Monday and Tuesday, veterans can get any pizza and a non-alcoholic drink at California Pizza Kitchen for free.
For Veterans Day only, Golden Corral is offering a free buffet dinner and drink. Krispy Kreme, Red Robin, Starbucks are all offering deals as well.
Veterans will receive a $10.99 dinner, for free, if they buy a drink at Hooters.
The deals are not limited to restaurants as other chains are offering big deals too.
If a service member wants to unwind, Massage Envy is giving out complimentary one-hour massages.
Anytime throughout the month of November Red Roof Inn is giving veterans a 15-percent discount off their stay.
Retailers JCPenney and Bed Bath & Beyond are both offering 20-percent discounts through the end of Veterans Day. Veterans can take advantage by printing a coupon to save at JCPenney.
