It was like Iron Chef meets a local farmers' market with the smell of grilled seafood and the simmering spices dancing in the air.
The throwdown welcomed people to eat locally.
Katie Reed with the Bowdoin Geneva Main Streets says it's an opportunity for people to learn more creative ways to cook.
Chef Stephen Pierce from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Chef Ken McCluskey of the Blarney Stone had one hour to prepare a meal.
In the end, the judges voted Chef McCluskey's lobster dogfish bisque the winner.
