Littleton, Acton & Boxborough Residents Dealing With A Bear
LITTLETON (CBS) - Rico the dog tuned into some wildlife that was a bit too wild, locking eyes on a black bear that waddled into the Webster family's Littleton yard, about five feet from their door.
"The dog was looking out the door," Carolyn Webster said. "We call (the door) Rico's TV because he watches all the wildlife, squirrels usually, not anything that exciting. The bear was just sitting there enjoying a good lunch."

The black bear grabbed a birdfeeder in the backyard and was shaking it and batting it around trying to get every last drop of bird seed out. It pulled down one birdfeeder and took off with another. Police showed up to help scare off the bear.
"We attempted to use the siren and voices to scare the bear back into the woods but at first he was just content with the birdfeeder," Littleton Police Officer Pablo Fernandez said.
The bear made its way around the Ambra Jeanson's pool in Acton.
"It just casually popped out but to us it's so shocking," said Jeanson. "I was sitting there and noticed this black object in my peripheral. I did a double-take and I was just so shocked and said mom is that a bear??"
Police believe it's the same bear wandering around neighboring towns.
Acton, Littleton and Boxborough have all put out reverse 911 calls telling residents not to feed the bears, to make sure there isn't any garbage in their yards and to take birdfeeders inside.
If you see a bear don't approach it call police for help.
