Lightning Strike Sparks House Fire In Dennis
DENNIS (CBS) – Lightning is being blamed for a fire that damaged a house in Dennis Saturday morning.
The home on Donavan Way was hit by lightning around 7 a.m., sparking a fire in the walls and ceiling of the third floor.
The roof sustained heavy fire damage and there was smoke and water damage as well as a large hole from the initial lightning strike.
Everyone in the home made it out safely.
