Let it Shine!

The sunshine is back!  Today will be a bright, yet brisk day as winds gust up to 25mph from the west. High temperatures will be touching upon 60F.

Another quick moving cold front will increase cloud cover on Friday morning allowing for a few showers to slip from northwest to southeast from late-morning through the afternoon hours.  The evening will be dry as the front will be offshore at that point. Highs will be cooler in the middle 50s.  Winds will continue to be breezy from the southwest early to the northwest later in the day.

This weekend is shaping up to be the first frost of the season in the suburbs.  On average, the first frost occurs on October 6th for the 'burbs and November 7th for Boston.  It will be a frosty start to your  Saturday morning.  Then, the sunshine on Saturday will only be able to push temperatures into the middle 50s, which is approzimately 5-8 degrees below normal. Sunday will be warmer and cloudier with a chance of showers early as a warm front makes it trek northward.  Highs will be in the middle 60s.

Fall foliage is past peak across Northern New England, but there are many great spots to check out from Southern NH to northern/central Massachusetts this weekend. Southeastern Mass is still about 2 weeks away from reaching peak.

*Halloween is a few weeks away and we have the guide for you right on our CBSBoston.com website.
