Last Few Days of Summer...

A line of showers is working in from the West and should pass through tomorrow afternoon with a period of generally lighter rain.  Winds out ahead of this system will flow out of the SW and therefore temps will moderate a bit to around 70 for the first time in several days.  Following those showers there won't be a perfect clear...it will take a little time to burn off some lower cloud cover on Wednesday, but eventually we will succeed and sunshine will break out...temps again in the 70s.

I wish it weren't the case, but Wednesday is looking like the last day for a while with any appreciable sunshine and or rain-free conditions.  A big trough will be digging in the center of the country.  This will promote increasing warmth and an increasing rain chance for the second half of the week and quite possibly the weekend too.
