Last Days Of Summer

A deteriorating cold front will be the culprit for cloudy conditions today as well as midday showers, mainly between 11am-5pm. Highs will still be slightly below normal in the upper 60s/near 70F.  We will squeeze out a dry day on Wednesday as temperatures warm into the middle 70s.   Another cold front  heads our way on Thursday and will make Southern New England its residence for a couple of days.  High temperatures will be in the middle to upper 70s for the last full day of Summer and the first day of Autumn (5:05am on Friday).

The low attached to the front will cutoff from the jetstream-->upper level low across the Great Lakes region.  Our result will be rain developing on Thursday and lingering through Friday and possibly into Saturday morning.   Then, as the low begins to 'fill-in' and weaken, the jetstream will carry it away early next week. This will bring us more showers before it jets to the east.  70s seem to be the name of the game on this Accuweather 7-day forecast through early next week.

***Autumnal Equinox-->5:05am on Friday***

***Autumnal Equilux-->September 26 (11 hours 59 minutes  of daylight...12hours 1 minute of darkness/night )
