Last Day of Fall
It's going to be a quiet day today. Plentiful sunshine will be combined with light winds and highs in the lower 40s. Then, the storm barreling through the Great Lakes to the Deep South will be heading this way.
Clouds will be increasing tonight before showers press eastward after midnight. These showers will turn into heavy downpours by late-morning Friday into the mid-afternoon (~10am-2pm) hours. Winds will be sustained near 25mph and gusts will have the potential of reaching 50mph. Highs will be in the 45-50F range before the 'winds of change' arrive. Rainfall totals will be between ~.50-1.0".

Saturday will be a partly sunny day with a few flurries floating around. Highs will nbe around 40F. Sunday will be sunner with a cold breeze. Highs will only reach the middle 30s.
Christmas Eve is looking sunny and cold with highs in the middle 30s once again. Christmas Day looks like a partly cloudy to partly sunny day. The GFSx has us completely dry as alow passes to our south. However, the EURO shows the potential for a snowflake or raindrop to fall during the afternoon as the 'main energy' would stay to our west and to our east. Both days will be cold with highs in the middle 30s.
