Kraft, Wynn Take Casino Pitch Directly To Foxboro Residents
FOXBORO (CBS) - A resort casino look on Route 1, across from Gillette Stadium would look pretty good, according to Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
Kraft has teamed up with casino mogul Steve Wynn to produce a pitch video in an attempt to sell their idea to Foxboro residents.
"What works in Las Vegas, will not work in Foxboro," says Wynn, on the video. "The word I'm looking for is intimate."
Kraft talks about not moving ahead without the approval of the town's residents.

But, he adds in the video that there are real benefits to a casino.
"The casino and resort would create 10-thousand jobs. That would benefit the town's schools, and social services," he says.
Plenty of residents oppose the idea. Some have even started an anti-casino group.
But Tuesday, others said that they'd want to hear the details before making a decision.
