Kraft On Cover Of Sports Illustrated for Super Bowl Week
BOSTON (CBS) - A week after Tom Brady graced the cover of Sports Illustrated, another Patriot enjoys that honor for the week leading up to the Super Bowl.
It's not a player this time around, though. This week, owner Robert Kraft was placed on the cover of the magazine.
The headline reads "Kraftwork," and in the accompanying story, Kraft speaks with Peter King about a variety of topics. Kraft, 70, discussed "the transformation of his franchise since he bought the team following the '93 season."
"The key to life is you try to see things other people can't see," Kraft said in the story. "This league is set up for everyone to go 8-8. How do you differentiate? You have to be bold in any business and do things you take a lot of criticism for but you believe are right."
Last week, the magazine profiled the impact that the death of Kraft's wife, Myra Hiatt Kraft, has had on the team this season.
