Khudobin To Get First Start For Bruins Against Hurricanes
BOSTON (CBS) - With a busy schedule ahead of them this week, it looks like the Boston Bruins will start Anton Khudobin in net for the first time this season on Monday night.
Khudobin was the first goalie off the ice for the B's at their morning skate in Raleigh on Monday, as they get set to face the Carolina Hurricanes.
The 26-year-old backup made just one start for Boston last season, a 3-1 win over the Ottawa Senators on April 15. In that game, Khudobin stopped 44 of the 45 shots the Senators sent his way. He remained busy during the recent lockout, manning the net for Moscow Atlant of the KHL.

Tuukkka Rask started Boston's first four games of the lockout-shortened season, going 3-0-1 with a .196 goals against average and a .925 save percentage.

The Bruins will take the ice for four games this week, so Khudobin may see multiple starts during the stretch. After their match-up with the Canes on Monday, Boston hosts the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night and the Sabres Thursday night before taking on the Maple Leafs in Toronto on Saturday.
