Kevin Garnett Won't Travel With Nets To Boston
BOSTON (CBS) -- The last time the Brooklyn Nets came to the TD Garden, it was a grand reunion, with both Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett getting honored with video tributes and showered in applause by the Boston fans in attendance. This time around, K.G. will be missing out.
Garnett won't travel with the Nets for their game in Boston on Friday due to back spasms.
For Garnett, 37, it'll be his fourth straight missed game. He's averaging 6.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game this season, down from 14.8 and 7.8, respectively, last year.
The Celtics and Nets meet again on March 21 down in Brooklyn, and the Nets don't make another trip to Boston this season.
That is, unless these two teams meet in the playoffs ...
