Kevin Durant Reportedly To Announce Destination Monday
BOSTON (CBS) – There will NBA fireworks on the Fourth of July.
According to multiple reports, Kevin Durant is expected to announce his free agency destination on Monday.
Several reporters have said Durant will publish his decision on The Players Tribune website.
The Celtics were one of six teams who met with Durant in the Hamptons this weekend. Boston's contingent included front office representatives, several players and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.
According to one report, Boston's pitch may not have been enough. Royce Young of ESPN.com said Sunday night that Durant is believed to have narrowed his choice to Oklahoma City or Golden State Warriors.
Looks like there will be plenty for basketball fans to talk about at their Fourth of July barbecues.
