Kenny Florian to Fight in Boston
While no official word has come down from the UFC, top lightweight contender tweeted today that he would in fact be fighting in Boston for the UFC at an event to be held in August. The most likely scenario is that Florian would be facing Gray Manard in a fight that would determine who is the number one contender in the lightweight division.
Florian, a Westwood, MA native spoke to Boston Throwdown recently before his bout on Fight Night 21, and talked about what it would mean for him to fight in Boston. Listen to the interview here.
