Kenny Chesney Visits BC Football Team
BOSTON (CBS) - With Jon Bon Jovi visiting the Patriots this week, it was only fitting the Boston College football team had a star visit of their own.
In town for a concert at Gillette on Friday and Saturday, country music superstar Kenny Chesney stopped by to give the Eagles some inspirational words as they get ready to open their season next weekend.
This was an unexpected surprise for the Eagles.
Head Coach Frank Spaziani assembled the team and had them watch Chesney's music video "The Boys of Fall," a song that chronicles the emotions of the game of football.

When the video ended, in walked Chesney. The unexpecting Eagles gave him a standing ovation.
He was presented with a Boston College jersey and hat, and spoke with the team about personal sacrifice and working as a team in order to achieve their goals.
The Boston College Eagles open their season September 3 against Northwestern at Alumni Stadium.
