Keller @ Large: Whitey Bulger Should Be Put To Death
BOSTON (CBS) - What a revolting figure Whitey Bulger cut in federal court Wednesday, refusing to even face the relatives of the people he mercilessly slaughtered over the years.
Oh, sorry, he wouldn't look at them because he didn't want to legitimize the trial, explained his mouthpiece, Jay Carney, the same lawyer who pathetically tried to claim during the trial that Bulger was eager to make financial restitution to his victims.

The judge is now sending Bulger off to rot in prison for the rest of his life, and even among the victims Wednesday there was disagreement over whether he should be executed for his vile crimes.
Some said they preferred to see him rot in jail, but with all due respect to them, I beg to differ.
Whitey Bulger should be put to death as quickly as possible, for several reasons.
One was articulated by some of those who spoke in court, the desire to never see his face or hear his name again.
Barring his deliverance to face murder charges in Florida or Oklahoma, where the death penalty would likely be sought, we will continue to hear about Bulger until Satan finally escorts him home. We will likely be treated to the sight of demented sycophants proclaiming his innocence, and ghoulish opportunists trying to turn a buck off his letters or even a prison interview.
Plus, it costs us almost $30,000 a year to house a federal prison inmate. I prefer not to see another dime spent to feed this particular creature.
If you oppose the death penalty on moral grounds, good for you.
Here's one case, however, where quick execution is the right thing to do in every way.
