Keller @ Large: Weekly Round-Up Of The GOP Race
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — It was a busy day at the New Hampshire secretary of state's office as candidates arrived for their last chance to sign up for the state's presidential primary.
With a few hours left to go before the filing period closed Friday, 28 Republicans and 14 Democrats had paid the $1,000 fee to get on the ballot, including former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson, who nearly missed the deadline by mistake and had to fly in from Arizona overnight.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry also handed in his paperwork, as did Vermin Supreme, a perennial candidate from Massachusetts known for wearing a boot on his head.
Secretary of State Bill Gardner plans to announce the date of the primary next week.
