Keller @ Large: Senator Scott Brown At The White House
BOSTON (CBS) - Most Republicans running for re-election want to stay away from President Obama, but not Senator Scott Brown. He was at the White House Wednesday, shaking hands with the president at a bill-signing ceremony.
Senator Brown personally lobbied the president at the State of the Union Address to move the STOCK Act along.
That promise was kept, with a presidential compliment to Brown, who was on hand to bask in a moment of bipartisan solidarity.
The Democrats expect the presidential campaign to draw out voters in the Senate race who don't otherwise bother to vote and they're counting on them to provide a crucial boost for Brown's likely challenger, Elizabeth Warren.
