Keller @ Large: New Jobs Bill Is Hard Sell For President Obama
BOSTON (CBS) – Last week, the President delivered what was billed as a turning-point speech to Congress.
Since then he's been in full campaign mode, appealing for support at events across the country.
So how's it going? Not so well.

According to a new national poll, only 43% of voters favor the President's jobs bill, with a combined 57% either opposing it or reserving judgment.
And those weak numbers look good compared with another poll that finds a majority, 51%, believing the bill won't help create jobs, while only 40% think it will.
And last night, there was more bad news in the form of a stunning GOP victory in a New York City Congressional District that hasn't gone Republican in decades.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says this is not a reflection on the President. But does she really believe that?
The sight of newly-minted Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren refusing to endorse the Obama bill helps expose that spin for what it is: a brave front in the face of the President's sagging public support.
