Keller @ Large: Donald Trump, Lawsuit President

BOSTON (CBS) - Forget about Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, Elizabeth Warren and all the others. There is only one person sniffing around the 2016 presidential race who warrants the serious attention of the American people.

Can you guess who it is?

That's amazing, you nailed it, Donald Trump is correct.

On cable TV the other morning Trump was asked – is there a chance you, Donald Trump, might set aside your busy "Celebrity Apprentice" taping and casino bankruptcy filing schedule and save our grateful nation from the abyss?

Unexpectedly, Trump thought that might not be a bad idea.

"I think I could do well," he said. "I think if I got it, I would do a lot of things differently."

I assume that means differently from President Obama, or Jeb Bush, or, really, any civic-minded grownup of good character. And that strikes me as one campaign promise that can definetly be kept.

President Trump would do to his political competitors – and our enemies in the world - the same thing he's doing to the Palm Beach airport for the third time in the past 20 years: sue the daylights out of them.

See, Trump claims vibrations from planes taking off from there – including his own 757 – are leaving cracks in Mar-a-Lago, his 58-bedroom estate.

If only Trump could be persuaded to sue himself. Now that would be a win-win situation for America.
