Keller @ Large: Analyzing The Body Language Of Senate Candidates
BOSTON (CBS) - All of the Senate candidates are trying to get their message out, but what message does their body language convey?
WBZ's Jon Keller recently analyzed the body language of several candidates with some help from an expert, Don Khoury.

"Almost like Charlie Baker was a year ago. You know, the arms up around the head," said Khoury, who advises that candidates should keep their hands below their shoulders, because it shows "a little more emotional control."

"That comes across as not necessarily being in control of your emotions, and people want someone that is more steady in their emotions, whether it's a Scott Brown or a Deval Patrick," said Khoury.

What about Brown's gestures at a recent appearance in Dedham?
"(His gestures) are slower, more deliberate. They seem to be more mentally organized in terms of his delivery. It's just more confident," said Khoury.
In general, Khoury rates Brown's body language very highly. Why?
"It's so controlled. It's transparent. It's reassuring. He doesn't emotional control. His vocal pitch and tone remain very steady. Even when he was talking about his wife and daughter... during the Coakley debates, his vocal pitch and tone didn't go that much higher," said Khoury.
OTHERS
Khoury went on to analyze the body language of Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, Chris Christie, and even Terry Francona.
He also made some predictions about who will win the Senate seat in Massachusetts and who will win the Republican nomination for President based on their body language (and it's not who you think it is...).
