Keefer Madness: Angry Nuns Mad At Their Strip Club Neighbors
BOSTON (CBS) - Some things just don't mesh well together, like oil and water, lamb and tuna fish, and a pig and an elephant's DNA.
Add "nunnery" and "strip club" to that list as well, and the scene unfolding in Chicago right now definitely fits the bill of the Keefer Madness mold.
The state of Illinois has a law prohibiting adult entertainment clubs withing 1,000 feet of schools and places of worship. Well, Club Allure in Stone Park is located right next to The Sisters Of St. Charles' property, which includes three chapels.
The gentleman's club opened in September and the nuns filed suit on this week. The owners of the club say they are more than just a strip club and offer other entertainment as well, like comedy, acrobatics and more.
Keefe and Adam Jones break the whole story down on the newest edition of Keefer Madness:
