Just One...
Hey all...I'm back from a couple of weeks off but I must say, if you are on vacation this week I'm super jealous! This week is going to be a gem with only one day with rain.
That one day is tomorrow. A dry ridge of high pressure is sliding offshore and southerly, muggy flow is about to commence. Humidity levels will steadily be on the rise through the night and you'll really feel the change in the air tomorrow. A couple of fronts will work through during tomorrow's high humidity. The result will be high chance for showers and thunderstorms. In the morning a few showers may be around but most of the action isn't expected until the afternoon when a solid slug of rain and embedded storms works through. There is a chance for some of the storms to get pretty nasty but that is highly dependent on sunshine and at this time I'm not expecting much so while there is a chance for a few gusty storms we should avoid a major outbreak.
Following the cold frontal passage tomorrow night, another refreshing airmass will build in from Canada for the rest of the week. Days will be filled with sun and temps in the middle to upper 70s. The air will be dry and somewhat crisp too...in fact, Thursday morning low temps will be in the 40s in the suburbs...brrrrr!
