Judge Orders Catherine Greig Be Held Without Bail, But Could Reconsider
BOSTON (CBS) - A federal magistrate judge ordered that Whitey Bulger's longtime companion Catherine Greig be held behind bars without bail pending her trial.
But, United States Magistrate Judge Jennifer Boal did leave the door open for Greig's attorney, Kevin Reddington, to present other reasons for Greig to be released before her trial.
"Indeed, at (Wednesday's hearing), the defendant indicated that she intended to present additional material for consideration by this Court regarding her proposed conditions of release," Boal said in a written statement.
