Jones: Over/Under 99.5 Rushing Yards For Marshawn Lynch On Sunday?
BOSTON (CBS) - It was an Over/Under Tuesday night on The Adam Jones Show's "Game of Jones."
In this latest edition, Adam Jones gives his take on the following topics:
- Over/Under 99.5 Rushing Yards For Marshawn Lynch In Super Bowl XLIX
"Over. I think the Patriots are going to have their hands full with Marshawn Lynch," said Jones.
"I think Seattle is going to continuously give him the football and run it down the Patriots' throats. If Justin Forsett can do it, if Chris Ivory can do it, if Jamaal Charles and Knile Davis can do it, even Knowshon Moreno earlier in the season ran all over the Patriots.
"Now granted, some of those came earlier in the season before the Patriots got back on track, but I just think Marshawn Lynch has a big day. I think the Patriots can overcome it, but I don't think they can hold him to under triple digits."
- Over/Under 5 Passes Thrown In Richard Sherman's Direction In Super Bowl XLIX
"Over. I'm going to say over because I think they should test him. They should go at him, and I don't think he's one hundred percent," said Jones. "Ed Werder reported earlier [Tuesday] that he has ligament strains, so if I'm the Patriots I'd go at him."
- Over/Under 6.5 Receptions For Julian Edelman In Super Bowl XLIX
"I'm going to say under, but that doesn't mean he can't have a big day. He could have five catches for 80 yards, and that's the performance you need out of him. He has to make plays underneath in the short, intermediate routes against linebackers and slot corners. I think Tom Brady will check down to [Danny] Amendola, I think Brady will check down to [Shane] Vereen, but Edelman has to make plays."
After the Super Bowl questions, Rich Keefe hit Jones with over/under questions about Kobe Bryant and deflated footballs.
