Johnston & Flynn: Peter Abraham On Sox-Yankees
BOSTON (CBS) - Due to Tropical Storm Irene, the Red Sox played a doubleheader on Saturday against the Oakland Athletics and were able to sweep the series.
Peter Abraham joined Johnston & Flynn Monday as they filled in for Toucher & Rich. They talked about the upcoming series with the New York Yankees and the approaching playoffs.
They discussed who this series is bigger for the Red Sox or Yankees and the poor performances of C.C. Sabathia against the Sox.
The guys also talked about the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry and how it doesn't seem to be as heated as it used to be.
Is there really any dislike between players anymore?
The post-season is just about a month away and people are still wondering who the 3rd starter will be for the Sox.
When will they get the rotation set the way that they want?
Could the Sox find some right field help from a player off of waivers or are they all set with the players that they have?
