Johnny Depp's Whitey Bulger Movie To Be Released In September 2015
BOSTON (CBS) - A tentative release date has reportedly been announced for the Johnny Depp-as-Whitey Bulger film that has been shooting in and around Boston.
The movie, which had a working title of Black Mass, is set to be released Sept. 18, 2015 by Warner Bros., according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film, which also stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Joel Edgerton, Kevin Bacon, Adam Scott, Dakota Johnson, Juno Temple and Jesse Plemons, is based on the book Black Mass: Whitey Bulger, the FBI and a Devil's Deal, by Dick Lehr and Gerard O'Neill.
