Jimmy Murphy On The Bruins Goaltending Situation
Bruins Insider Jimmy Murphy joined D.A. today on the Gresh and Zo show. Jimmy talked about the Bruins overtime win last night in Phoenix.
D.A. asked Jimmy why Tuukka Rask has been so good this year, and he thinks it is because Rask knows how to be a good backup now. Playing Tuukka will pay off in the long run because it will allow Tim Thomas to rest up for the playoffs.
Murphy also thinks the Bruins will need to acquire one more defenseman at the trade deadline to add more depth.
