Man Killed In Early Morning Shooting In Jamaica Plain
BOSTON (CBS) – Police are hoping surveillance cameras captured a Jamaica Plain shooting that left one man dead early Tuesday morning.
Gunshots were reported just before 1 a.m. on Centre Street at an apartment complex near the Jackson Square MBTA stop.
A man in his 40s was taken to an area hospital but died a short time later.
Police have not identified a suspect or motive.
"We are trying to sort out what occurred here. Detectives will be doing a canvas and checking for video in the area," said Boston Police Superintendent Bernard O'Rourke.
