Jagr Questionable For Bruins On Saturday, Horton Still Out
BOSTON (CBS) -- The Bruins can control their own playoff destiny this weekend, starting with a game Saturday night in Washington. They may be without Jaromir Jagr when they take on the Capitals, though.
Coach Claude Julien said Friday that Jagr, who missed practice and won't travel with the team, is battling the flu. However, there's still a chance the forward flies to Washington on Saturday to join the team and play Saturday night.
"He may join us tomorrow, he may not," Julien said.
Jagr played on Thursday night, recording 14:30 of ice time.
One Bruins forward who definitely won't play on Saturday is Nathan Horton, who still is dealing with an unknown upper-body injury, which he presumably suffered in his fight with Jarome Iginla last weekend.
"Just being extra cautious," Julien said of Horotn. "We're going to make sure that we get him ready when the time comes."
