iPhone Stolen From Your Purse? There's An App For That
BOSTON (CBS) - If your iPhone is stolen, don't worry. There's an app for that.
A woman who had her phone swiped from her purse at the W Hotel in Boston found out first hand.
She called police and activated the 'Find My iPhone' feature.
In a matter of minutes, Boston police officers were able to trace her phone to a home in Dorchester.
There, investigators found someone matching the description of the thief.
That suspect, Thomas Banks, 51, had an iPhone in his pocket.
Officers asked the victim to call her phone. The phone Banks had, began to ring.
He's charged with larceny.
