Lawrence Fire Chief Calls Cause Of Massive Mill Fire 'Questionable'
LAWRENCE (CBS) --- Firefighters continued to douse hot spots Tuesday morning as investigators continue to look into what caused the massive fire at an abandoned mill in Lawrence.
Acting Fire Chief John Marsh is calling the fire "questionable."
Investigators planned to bring dogs to the site Tuesday, to sniff for accelerates.

Investigators Look Into Cause Of Massive Mill Fire In Lawrence
City officials are now pledging to crack down on similar buildings.
This property was purchased for $1 in 2010 by a former Lawrence police officer.
"There is great examples of good development in these mills in Lawrence. We're going to support people who do that and in places where that's not the case, and it makes sense for the city to take over the situation, we're going to look into eminent domain and making sure we clear the way for positive and productive growth," Lawrence Mayor Dan Rivera said.
Rivera said the city needs to make sure they are holding property owners accountable when it comes to caring for buildings.
"We need to learn how to better manage these properties, city government can't be taken as dupes when it comes to stuff like this," Rivera said.
State Police fire investigators from the State Fire Marshal's office were on the scene working with Lawrence Fire Department investigators Tuesday.
According to investigators, it was not safe for them to begin the forensic scene exam Monday night.
City officials planned to meet Tuesday afternoon to discuss when the building would be demolished.
