Investigation Into Cahill Campaign Nearing End
BOSTON (CBS) - The investigation into whether former state Treasurer Tim Cahill's gubernatorial campaign broke the law may be coming to a close.
The attorney general's office has been investigating a series of ads promoting the lottery that ran just before last year's gubernatorial election. Investigators visited the lottery headquarters on Monday.
The lottery ads were paid for with taxpayer money, but some have alleged that they were coordinated by the Cahill campaign.
