Investigation Continues Into Chelmsford High Football Hazing Allegations
CHELMSFORD (CBS) - Campgrounds on Lake Winnipesaukee are the site of a possible hazing incident involving Chelmsford High School football players.
Head of Maintenance Joel Mudgett says the camp did not know anything had happened until police recently came out and took pictures of the Feldman A and B Bunks.
"We rented the property to the Chelmsford football team," said Mudgett. "They come in, they supervise all their own kids, run their own programs, nothing to do with us, other than giving them a place to stay and we feed them."

Investigation Continues Into Alleged Hazing Among Chelmsford Football Players
Chelmsford rented out Camp Robindel in Moultonborough, New Hampshire for three nights in August for football practice and team building before school started. Police say after the annual trip was over, school officials found out about the hazing allegations and detectives started investigating.
"It's a pretty serious allegation," said Moultonborough Police Sgt. Peter Beede. "We are taking it seriously, we are making every effort to investigate it thoroughly and come to a proper conclusion in this case."
Because all of the suspects and victims are minors--16 or under--few details are being released. But WBZ-TV has learned the case involves a possible assault and battery. Chelmsford school officials say they have already disciplined some of the students involved, but any criminal charges will be up to police.
Camp Robindel says the boys have been coming out for over a decade and there have never been problems.
"Always been a good group," said Mudgett. "They come in, clean up after themselves and seem to have a good time."
Moultonborough Police say so far everyone is cooperating but they have not finished their interviews yet.
They hope to have their investigation completed by next week.
Nat Greenfield, co-owner of the camp property, sent an email to WBZ-TV saying, "We know nothing about what may have happened. We are simply the owners of the property and had no responsibility for supervising the children. Chelmsford's football team has been using our facility for at least 13 years for their annual August four day/three night football camp."
