Interstate 93 Open Tolling Lanes Closing For Repair In Hooksett, NH
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire transportation officials say the open road tolling lanes on Interstate 93 northbound and southbound in Hooksett will be closed briefly Monday for repairs to a barrier guardrail.
Officials say the four lanes will be closed for a six-hour period from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday.
The lanes allow E-ZPass holders to breeze through the toll station at 65 mph without braking while scanners automatically record E-ZPass data.
The lanes first opened over the Memorial Day weekend — the fourth busiest travel holiday for the state.
The New Hampshire Turnpike along Interstate 95 also has open-road tolling at its toll plaza in Hampton.
