Intense...
Today's high...91...making this day 5 of the heat wave but the worst is yet to come with the heat peaking tomorrow. Stiff SW winds will keep any seabreeze at bay tomorrow and most of the area will roast under intense heat. The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning from just south of Boston to Worcester to Manchester, NH...at times tomorrow afternoon it will feel like 105-110 degrees...please take it slow!
Saturday will be another hot day with highs slightly higher than 90 degrees but the heat wave will crumble with strong afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Some of the storms may have damaging wind gusts. Following the storms we will finally see relief...Canadian high pressure...will shove the heat and humidity south of New England and for about a three day stretch highs will be close to 80 and humidity levels will come way down. It's now just a couple of days away!
