Injured Andre Carter Thankful For Tim Tebow's Prayer
FOXBORO (CBS) - When defensive end Andre Carter went down with an injury during Sunday's 41-23 win over the Broncos, his teammates came over to check on him.
So did Denver QB Tim Tebow.
Carter was on the ground writhing in pain after injuring his left quad while defending against a run play at the end of the first quarter.
Before Carter was carted off the field and taken to the locker room, Tebow tapped the Patriot on the helmet and said a prayer.
Carter, who is out for the season with the injury, took to Twitter to give thanks.
A free-agent signing in the off-season, Carter was one of the team's top defensive players. He leads New England with 10 sacks in the first 13 games, and also has 52 tackles and two forced fumbles.
