Teenager Arrested After Stand-Off In Everett
EVERETT (CBS) - An 18-year-old is facing charges after a stand-off in Everett on Friday.
Police say Shadane Richards fired several shots at a car that was parked in front of his home on Calhoun Avenue before barricading himself in his home.
Tactical teams blocked off the road and surrounded the home following the shooting. After a tense stand-off, he surrendered to police.
Richards was taken into custody and charged with discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, possession of a firearm without a License, unlawful possession of ammunition and malicious destruction of property.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Several schools were placed in safe mode during the stand-off.
