In The Zone...

We are heading into another stunningly beautiful day and Mother Nature is clearly in the zone right now...a cold front will disrupt her focus over the weekend and we'll finally get another drink of rain.

High pressure remains in charge here in the Northeast and temps will be in rapid rise mode through the day...topping out near 80 inland with slightly cooler 70s at the coast due to a weak sea breeze.  Over the weekend the high will start shifting east and our stagnant pattern will open up allowing for showers to work in from the west.  They'll hold off until Sunday though...so no issues Saturday except for a muggier breeze kicking up in the afternoon...high in the mid 70s.  Saturday night, the front will be closing in...low clouds and fog will form and a bit of overnight drizzle will be possible.  The front marches through New England midday and early afternoon resulting in a band of rain that will likely begin 8 or 9 AM and will taper around noon or 1PM...hopefully just in time for kick off for the Pats!  Behind the front, the will freshen up out of the NW and this will shut off the rain and bring in cooler and drier air for the afternoon and early next week.

Have a great weekend!
