In The 50s

Temperatures aren't going to meander their way out of the 50s for several days in a row.  A secondary shot of cool air spawned a few showers yesterday evening, and now, the cooler air is working its way into the region.

Like the past few days, northwest winds will be breezy at times and the sun will be out in full force. However, the temperatures will be a tad cooler and more seasonable in the lower to middle 50s.  Red Flag Warnings will be in effect from late this morning through 7pm for portions of Metrowest, Central and Western Massachusetts, as well as southern New Hampshire.

The more seasonable air will be sticking around through the Holiday weekend.  Passover begins at sundown this Friday evening as skies will be mostly clear and temperatures will be in the 40s.

Holiday weekend:  There will be a cool pool of air (shortwave) that dives from the north on Saturday. This will create a partly cloudy to partly sunny sky during the day. Highs will be in the lower and middle 50s.  Easter Sunday continues to be tough to pinpoint the exact timing and location of a low that will be retrograding, moving east to west, during the day.  Clouds will be increasing throughout the day with more clouds along the coast. There will be more opportunities for brighter skies the farther west that you reside.  There may be a few showers/drizzle/mist for the Coastal plain byt he afternoon. We need to watch the track of the low and how fast it 'backs in'. Highs will be closer to 50F along the coast while inland communities will climb into the middle to upper 50s.

One alarm clock away...
