Important Message For Dominicans In The U.S.
December 5, 2015
Latinos are the biggest minority group in Boston and in the New England region, with Dominicans being one of the strongest and most vibrant communities. Many of the small business are owned by Dominicans and the community is very involved in the political process here and back in their homeland the Dominican Republic. On this edition of Centro, we give this community a very important message… they only have until Tuesday, December 15th to renew their "cedula" (Dominican's official identification card), if they want to be able to vote in the 2016 elections. WBZ's Yadires Nova-Salcedo talks with Porfirio De Las Nieves, spokesperson for the Dominican Central Electoral Board in Boston. Tune in!
