I-Team: Veteran MBTA Police Officer Suspended For Sexual Assault
BOSTON (CBS) - The I-Team has learned a 22-year veteran of the MBTA Police is suspended for sexually assaulting another officer.
Sources say Sergeant Brian Carey is on administrative leave and could face criminal charges. The incident allegedly happened last week at MBTA police headquarters.
Carey allegedly slapped a female officer's buttocks so hard, he left bruises.
Sources tell the I-Team Carey worked as an instructor at the MBTA Police Academy, but was recently assigned to headquarters because of similar complaints from other female officers.
