Pine Street Inn President Lyndia Downie told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Mark Katic that Thanksgiving can be a difficult holiday for those who come in for a meal, but it can also be an encouraging one.

"The sweet side of it is we've got so many volunteers and so many people who have said 'look, we know you're going through a tough time, we know you're here, and we're here to help.' And that makes a huge difference," she said.
