Humidity On The Rise
Clouds will continue to increase today as well as the humidity. Highs will reach the middle 80s northwest of town, near 80F in Boston, and in the middle to upper 70s for the Cape/Islands. A warm front will be pressing northward today, but I expect the showers and storms derived from the frontal boundary to stay south and west of our viewing area.
However, there will be a chance of a few showers and storms tonight as a cold front slowly travels from west to east. The best chance will be after midnight. The cold front will pass western and central Mass. by late-morning Wednesday, but models are showing the cold front gettting hung up along coastal Mass. through late-afternoon. This would be enough to induce a couple of isolated storms for eastern and southeastern Mass. during the afternoon before exiting the area in the evening.
The end of the week: Thursday and Friday will be beautiful days! The humidity will be lower, and temperatures will still be right on-par for late June/early July. Both days will have an abundance of sunshine.
4th of July weekend: Saturday: sunshine->increasing clouds with highs in the lower to middle 80s. Sunday: A chance of showers early...partly cloudy later...highs in the middle 80s. 4th of July: Sun->increasing late-day clouds...highs in the middle 80s. This forecast is 'subject to change'. :)
