Hours Before Odin Lloyd Was Murdered, Aaron Hernandez Toasted To Fatherhood

BOSTON (CBS) – Shayanna Jenkins, the fiancee of Aaron Hernandez, showed up in court after a five day absence, just in time to see herself smiling in a picture of a Father's Day outing with friends just hours before Odin Lloyd was murdered.

Vanessa Sanchez was called to testify as she was in attendance at the Father's Day get together with several people, including Hernandez and Jenkins.

"We took a picture," said Sanchez , who said during her testimony that Hernandez bought drinks or shots for everyone at the table.

Defense attorney Michael Fee Aaron said Hernandez proposed a toast to Father's Day, which Sanchez confirmed.

About five hours later Lloyd was shot and killed.

The picture seen by the jury showed Hernandez wearing a white hooded shirt that police searched for in his home, but couldn't find. The logo on it matches the shirt he's seen wearing on surveillance the next morning holding what looks like a gun.

Since prosecutors never found the murder weapon, Wednesday they relied on ballistics evidence.

Jurors saw what .45 caliber casings and bullets look like under a microscope. Massachusetts State Police Sgt. Stephen Walsh compared those found at the crime scene with a casing found in Hernandez's rental car.
