Horton Won't Play Against Senators
BOSTON (CBS) - The Bruins get back into action on Tuesday night, but they'll do so without Nathan Horton.
The B's right winger is still feeling effects of the concussion he suffered Jan. 22 in Philadelphia on a hit from Tom Sestito. Horton missed the team's game two days later in Washington, and the team has been off since for the All-Star break.
Claude Julien announced after the morning skate that Rich Peverley will fill in for Horton on the line with Milan Lucic and David Krejci. Zach Hamill will skate in Peverley's normal spot on a line with Benoit Pouliot and Chris Kelly.
The Bruins will also be without defenseman Andrew Ference, who is serving the last of his three-game suspension. Ference was suspended for hitting Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonough dangerously into the boards on Jan. 21 in Boston.
The Bruins currently lead the Senators by just four points in the Northeast Division, but Boston has played five fewer games than Ottawa.
