Horton Progressing, Still Out For Bruins
BOSTON (CBS) - The Bruins have been without Nathan Horton for nearly two weeks, but the concussed winger is making at least some progress on his road to recovery.
"He's feeling better today, and hopefully if everything goes well, I think he's going to start going through the stages of recovery as far as working out," Claude Julien told reporters after Friday's practice.
Horton was hit by Tom Sestito in the second on Sunday, Jan. 22. Horton remained in the game but did not return for the third period.
It's the second concussion Horton has suffered since June, when he was knocked out of the Stanley Cup Final by Aaron Rome in Game 3.
